Community Forum on Library Strategic Plan at Steele Creek Library on February 6

(January 29, 2013) The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library will hold a community forum on the development of a Library Strategic Plan at the Steele Creek Library on Wednesday, February 6 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This is one of a series of forums to be held over the next few weeks.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is developing a 3-year Strategic Plan for library programs and services in cooperation with Mecklenburg County. This plan will cover fiscal years 2013-2016, and be updated yearly. The public can have input by completing a survey and/or participating in a community forum. Those providing feedback are eligible to enter a drawing for an iPad or a Kindle Fire.

Forums will take place:

Jan. 31 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Beatties Ford Road Regional Library, 2412 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte

Feb. 5 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at North County Regional Library, 16500 Holly Crest Lane, Huntersville

Feb. 6 - 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Steele Creek Library, 13620 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte

Feb. 7 - 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Mint Hill Library, 6840 Matthews - Mint Hill Road, Charlotte
