Councilmember Turner to Hold Town Hall Meeting on June 22

(May 28, 2005) Charlotte City Council member Warren Turner is holding another in a series of Town Hall Meetings to discuss neighborhood issues and concerns and to set an agenda for District 3. The meeting will be held on Wednesday June 22 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cook's Memorial Presbyterian Church (3413 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road)..

Items for discussion include:

• Public Safety
• Transportation
• Planning
• Transit
• City Services doe Annexed Areas
• Questions and Answers

In his invitation to District 3 citizens, Turner said "I am honored to serve as your District Councilmember and look forward to working with you in setting goals for District 3 and accomplishing them together. Please invite others in your neighborhood you feel should be included in this meeting and I look forward to seeing you on June 22nd."

City Council District 3 includes the portions of Steele Creek within the Charlotte city limits and other areas of West Charlotte. (See map.)

Councilmember Turner is a resident of Steele Creek.
