Observer Highlights Steele Creek Library Association

(December 8,  2003) The Charlotte Observer published an interview with Doug Youngblood and Linda Blackwelder of the Steele Creek Library Association in its Mecklenburg Neighbors Section on December 7. Doug and Linda have been involved with the Library Association since it was formed in 1992 to help bring a branch library to Steele Creek.

The association is now raising money to provide several extras for the new Steele Creek Branch Library under construction.
