Public Meeting on Whitehall Retail Center September 30

(September 21,  2002) Provonial Holdings, LLC will give a presentation on its plans for a small retail center on S Tryon Street at Whitehall Park Drive at a public meeting on Monday September 30.

Current zoning allows the retail center, but restrictions prohibit auto repair facilities. Provonal Holdings plans to include a Tuffy Auto Service Center and has filed a petition (2002-118) to have the restriction removed.

The planned center contains just over 10,000 square feet. Although the property is adjacent to S Tryon Street, access will be from Whitehall Park Drive.

The meeting will be held on Monday, September 30, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be at Steele Creek Branch Library. The library is located at 9124-F S Tryon Street, in the Steele Creek Commons Shopping Center.
