Community Meeting on the 1-cent Sales Tax Referendum

(September 18 2025) "The Whole Story on the Transit Tax"

Hosted by Commissioner Susan Rodriguez-McDowell, District 6

County Commissioner Susan Rodriguez-McDowell invites residents to a community meeting on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Christ the King Church. The meeting will be from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will feature a presentation from Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) and a panel of community stakeholders who will present differing views and information for residents to consider regarding the 1-cent sales tax referendum.
