New Goodwill Drop Off Site at Shopton Square

(March 31, 2023) Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is expanding with an additional donation drop off location to serve the Steele Creek community.

Starting this Saturday, April 1st at 9:00 a.m., area residents are encouraged to drop off their gently used clothing, housewares, books, shoes, toys, and electronic devices at our newest donation drop off location in the Shopton Square parking lot. Larger items such as furniture and bicycles cannot be accepted at this location but are accepted at any of our stores.

As a social enterprise, proceeds from the sale of donated goods fund job training and employment services offered free of charge to members of the community. In 2022, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont provided support to more than 7,700 people in the Charlotte region.
