Steele Creek Musicians Shine (November 15, 2004) The members of the Steele Creek Community Band participated in their first concert style performance, since forming in June, yesterday at the Southern Christmas Show. Our members did a wonderful job as they entertained the shoppers and the many children present with traditional holiday tunes. Three members of Olympic High School's Trojan Band conducted individual tunes. The students were Daniel Fleming, Michael Paulus, and Steven Zike. Their families and fellow band members were very proud of their leadership. The band will
stage a Christmas caroling type event at 5:30 pm on December 3rd on
the courtyard behind Red Brixx Pizza at Ayrsley at I-485 and South
Tryon Street. The public is invited to attend. |
