National America
Recycles Day is Monday, November 15, 2004. Now entering its eighth
year, America Recycles Day is comprised of thousands of events
across the United States designed to promote the social,
environmental and economic benefits of recycling. America Recycles
Day reminds people that setting materials out for recycling is only
the first step — people must also buy products made from recycled
materials collected in their recycling programs. You can participate
by holding and event at your business, school or organization, or by
simply making a pledge. Visit the America Recycles day Web site at
www.americarecyclesday.org.
