"Private
Preserves" For Sale Soon at The Sanctuary
(September 1, 2004)
Crescent Resources is about ready to start selling residential lots
at its new Sanctuary development on Lake Wylie. The lots are so
large that they're being promoted as "private preserves." They range
from 2 to 12 acres, and most are large enough not only for a sizable
house, but also for a second building, which could be used as a
guest house, nanny's quarters, work-at-home office, art studio, or
hobby shop. The lots range in price from $140,000 to $2,000,000.
With only
188 lots, there will be plenty of room left for trails, parks, and
natural areas. Crescent has made environmental sensitivity paramount
at the Sanctuary and will leave about 80% of the development
undesturbed.
A 7,000
square foot model/sales center is now open on Shopton Road West.
Tours of the home sites will be offered during "Discovery Days!" on
September 11, 12, 18, and 19. The first day of private preserve
sales is September 25.
