LifePointe Church to Hold Child Safety Awareness Event August 28
(August 22, 2004) LifePointe Christian Church is sponsoring a Child Safety
Awareness event on Saturday, August 28th from 10:00 am to Noon at Southwest Middle School.

It will be a time for kids and  their families to learn some of the basics of safety directly from the pros. The church is partnering with local public safety servants to provide resources and training for everyone. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Departments will be taking part, as well as Dan Starks of WCNC Channel 6.

Don't worry, it won't be some old boring seminar, we're talking games and fun too!

Channel 6 news will cover the event. Please come and help promote a united community against crime and in support of the protection of our kids
