Meeting on New Retail Center at 49/160 Corner is May 18
(May
11, 2004) Childress Klein Properties has applied for rezoning
of an 86-acre site on the southeast corner of York Road (Hwy 49) and
Steele Creek Road (Hwy 160). The petition and site plan are
available on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission's web

Childress Klein
will hold a public meeting on Tuesday May 18 at Pleasant Hill
Presbyterian Church (15000
York Road) at 7:00 P.M. Steele Creek neighbors will have an
opportunity to view the plans and ask questions of Childress Klein
representatives.

south. The church is about 2 miles on the right. It is just before
the entrance to McDowell Nature Preserve and 1.3 miles from Buster
Boyd Bridge. Be alert in the area due to new highway construction.)
