Historical Society Meetings for April and May

(April 18,  2004) The next meeting of the Steele Creek Historical And Genealogical Society will be on Monday April 26, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center at the Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church.

The speaker this month will be Mr. Church Ketchie. Mr. Ketchis is a map expert and has an excellent collection of historical maps of the Carolinas for presentation.

The speaker for the May 31 meeting will be Mrs. Jane Burdick from the Mint Hill Historic Society. Her topic will be the medical practices in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Included in her talk will be several artifacts from the Mint Hill Historic Doctor's Museum.
