Historical Society Meetings for January and February

(January 25,  2004) The next meeting of the Steele Creek Historical And Genealogical Society will be on Monday January 26, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center at the Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church

The speaker this month will be Mrs. Jane Burdick from the Mint Hill Historic Society. Her topic will be the medical practices in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Included in her talk will be several artifacts from the Mint Hill Historic Doctor's Museum.

The planned speaker for the next meeting on February 23th is Mrs. Cameron Blake-Holts from Historic Charlotte, who will give a presentation on the Elmwood Cemetery.
