Citizen Corps Coalition Kickoff March 24

(March 17,  2003) Charlotte Mayor Patrick McCrory and Mecklenburg County Commission Chair Tom Cox will host a kickoff for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Citizens Corps Coalition on Monday, March 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Charlotte Police and Fire Training Academy at 1770 Shopton Road.

The Citizen Corps Coalition of Charlotte-Mecklenburg is asking citizens to get involved. With training, education, and volunteer service, citizens can help their families and community be safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to any kind of disaster.
