Harold Cogdell Jr to Hold Town Hall Meeting September 28
(September 10, 2002)
Harold Cogdell, Jr., Charlotte City Council member representing
District 3, will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, September 28.
The purpose of the meeting is for city officials to provide
information about city services, policies, and planning, and for
Charlotte residents to voice concerns and discuss issues that affect
their neighborhoods and communities.
All portions of
Steele Creek within the Charlotte city limits are in City Council
District 3.
Issues to be
discussed include the following:
1. Future
development along I-485 corridor,
2. Public safety in our neighborhoods, and
3. Neighborhood services and community improvement initiatives.
Registration will
begin at 8:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
The meeting will be held at Central Piedmont Community College
Southwest Campus, located at 315 Hebron St, near Nations Ford Road.
