Primary Early
Voting Begins September 5 at Steele Creek Library
(August
24, 2017) Early Voting for the 2017 First Primary begins September 5
at the Steele Creek Library (13620 Steele Creek Road) for Charlotte
voters. Early Voting
has returned to the library from the temporaty site on South Tryon
Street that was used in 2016. Dates and times are as follows:
Tuesday, September 5 - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Wednesday, September 6 - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Thursday, September
7 - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, September 8 - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturday, September 9 - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
The Primary Electiion
is on Tuesday, September 12 from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Voting is at
each precinct's regular polling location. Voters may register during
Early Voting but must have registered by August 18 to vote on
September 12. The General Election is on November 7.
Early Voting has
begun today, August 24,
at the Hal Marshall Center in Uptown Charlotte (618 N College
Street) and will begin at eight additional locations on September
5. See

Steele Creek voters who live within the Charlotte city limits may vote
for Democratic and Republican Charlotte Mayoral candidates and
Democratic Charlotte City Council At-Large candidates. Candidates on the
ballot for Steele Creek precincts are as follows:

Voters will elect
district representatives to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of
Education in the November 7 General Election. This election is
non-partisan, and there will be no
primary. All of Steele Creek is in Board of Education District 2. Board of Education members serve four year
staggered
terms. Al-Large representatives will be up for election in 2019.
