Police to Hold
Community Corners Event on October 29

21, 2016)
The
Steele Creek Division of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police
Department will be hosting a Community Corners event on Saturday
October 29, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It will take
place at 818 E Arrowood Road in the Compare Foods parking lot.
City and private
organizations will be on site to answer questions you may have
regarding your community. This event is in place to bring resources
to your community in one easy location.
The following
agencies will be on site to interact and answer any questions you
may
have:
- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (Steele Creek Division)
- Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office
- Charlotte Fire Department
- CMPD Animal Control
- YMCA
- CPCC (Central Piedmont Community College)
- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department
- Community Development Community Policing (CDCP)
- Code Enforcement
- Neighborhood & Business Services
- Compare Foods
- CPI Security
- Latin Coalition
Free food will be provided by "All-Star Cafe."
Music will be provided by "With These Handz DJ Academy."

for Response Area 2, said "This event is a great way to meet
you and for you to find various agencies and find what they can do
for you."
