STEELE CREEK NEWS
Lake Wylie Winter Parade
is Saturday, December 12
(December
4, 2015) For over twenty years,
Lake Wylie Elementary School
has hosted a Winter Parade. The goal of the Winter Parade is to
celebrate the season with the school's community partners and to showcase
the dedicated staff and talented students in the southwest feeder
pattern. The theme for this year's Winter Parade is "Board Games and
Apps." Each class, school, or organization interprets the theme by
dressing in costume and decorating a float.
The Winter
Parade is led by a Grand Marshall. This year, the Grand Marshall
will be Superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Ann Clark. The
Olympic High School Marching Band and Cheerleaders are always
crowd pleasers!
