92 Town
Hall Meeting is June 23 in Huntersville
(June
22, 2014) N.C. House District 92 representative
Charles Jeter will be hosting a town hall meeting at
Huntersville Town Hall on Monday, June 23. During the meeting, Rep.
Jeter will be providing citizens with updates on recent and upcoming
activity from the current legislative session in Raleigh, and will
be seeking input regarding issues from area constituents.
Some of the topics to be discussed are the state’s budget, including
teacher pay, the handling and storage of coal ash, and other
regional issues.
This town hall meeting is free and open to the public.
Rep. Jeter was first elected to represent District 92 in 2012 and
was the only freshman representative chosen to chair a committee
during the 2013 session. During his first term, Rep. Jeter had a
direct hand in developing and enacting legislation to improve
distribution of transportation funding, to protect the environment,
and create job opportunities. District 92 encompasses the western
edge of Mecklenburg County and includes parts of Charlotte,
Pineville and Huntersville.
