Operation Santa
Claus at Olympic Needs Immediate Help!
Fundraiser
for Christmas Toys for Hidden Valley Children has Come up Short
(December
17, 2013)
To: Olympic Friends,
Last year our community friends stepped up to donate funds at the
last second so Olympic students could package and deliver both Santa
Claus and gifts to 950 children at Hidden Valley Elementary -- one
of the poorest schools in CMS and North Carolina with 97% of its
population qualifying for free and reduced lunch and with too many
homeless.
This is Olympic's 8th year with this student outreach project. Our
students have been raising funds for over a month now, but have come
up a little short.
We need to raise $1,000 quickly if all of the 950 students at Hidden
Valley are to receive Christmas gifts and Santa Claus on Friday,
December 20.
Can you PLEASE pledge something again this year?
Please email your pledge amount IMMEDIATELY to
michael.realon@cms.k12.nc.us and mail checks made
payable to "Olympic" to:
Olympic Community of Schools
Attn: Mike Realon
4301 Sandy Porter Road
Charlotte, NC 28273
Please Help us bring some Christmas Joy to Hidden Valley Elementary
this Friday.
