Trivia Night at
Historical Society Meeting January 30
(January
18, 2012) The
Steele Creek Historical and Genealogical Society is
having a Steele Creek “Jeopardy” Game night for its January 30th
meeting. This will be a great opportunity to learn some Steele Creek
history and have some fun!
Bring your knowledge
of Steele Creek from the first settlement to the end of WWII. It
will be a fun time to find out information about Steele Creek,
Berryhill, and other areas of the Old Steele Creek, which originally
extended north as far as Wilkinson Blvd, If you don’t know much
about Steele Creek, it will be a good time to learn about the
people, places, and events that have occurred over more than 200
years.
The meeting will be at 7:00 P.M. at Central Steele Creek
Presbyterian Church, located at the Intersection of S. Tryon St. and
Westinghouse Blvd. It will be in Room 300 in the Family Life Center,
which is on the left side of the building that is behind the
Sanctuary.
