Host Families
Needed This Summer for Chinese Students
(May 30,
2009) The
Northwest
International Student Exchange is bringing a group of
students from China to the Steele Creek-Fort Mill area this summer
to study English. They are looking for host families in Steele Creek
and nearby areas.
This non-profit and
its sister company.
Education,
Travel and Culture, arrange student exchanges
through local organizers. The daily classes will be at Grace
Presbyterian Church off Highway 160 in Fort Mill. The students will
be here from July 13th to August 2nd.
Many families in Steele Creek, Fort Mill, and Lake Wylie are
already volunteering to take in students, but more hosts are needed.
Families can host students for one or two weeks if they are
not available for the entire time.
