Rezoning Requested
to Build BofA Branch on 49 and 160 Corner
(March 1, 2008)
Bank on America plans to build a 6,222 square-foot branch on the
northwest corner of S Tryon Street (Highway 49) and Steele Creek
Road (Highway 160) in front of the Harris-Teeter at Steelecroft
Shopping Center. The site is the small triangle formed from the
relocation of Steele Creek Road to the east. (See
Rezoning Petition 2008-051.)
The bank will have
drive-thru windows and a drive-thru ATM. It will be accessed from
the existing Steelecroft parking lot. No additional driveways to
Steele Creek Road or S Tryon Street will be constructed.

The Steelecroft
developer and manager is
Crosland, Inc.,
which also developed Whitehall Commons shopping center, Whitehall
Professional Center, Lionsgate townhomes, and Planters Walk.
