New Bus Routes Coming to Steele Creek November 26 (October 20, 2007) New bus stop signs are popping up along Steele Creek roads. When the new LYNX Blue Line light rail service begins on November 26, buses will be following new and revised route through Steele Creek. New routes include: The former Arrowood Express route is renamed Steele Creek Express. It will begin at RiverGate and follow S Tryon Street and I-77 to central Charlotte. It will make a loop into the Whitehall park and ride lot. This route will connect South Point Business Park and Carowinds Boulevard to the I-485/South Boulevard light rail station. This new route will follow a loop along Westinghouse Boulevard, through Westlake Business Park to Steele Creek Road, then along Brown-Grier Road, Whitehall Park Drive, and S Tryon Street back to Westinghouse Boulevard. It then will follow Westinghouse Boulevard to the Sharon Road West light rail station. This route will go up S Tryon Street from RiverGate, loop to the Whitehall park and ride lot, and then follow Arrowood Road to the Arrowood light rail station. The route will serve the Harper campus of CPCC and have alternate side trips through Arrowood business park. The Arrowood Shuttle is being discontinued.
