As more stores have been opening over the last year and a half,
RiverGate has become the centerpiece for the Lower Steele Creek
area. Anchored by Home Depot and Super Target, RiverGate will offer
about three dozen shops and restaurants in 600,000 square feet of
retail space.
The petition in support of trails in Steele
Creek is directed towards Commissioner Norman Mitchell, who
represents the Steele Creek area on the Mecklenburg County Board
of County Commissioners. The text is as follows: |
Dear Commissioner
Mitchell:
I support the Steele Creek Community
Trail/Walkers Branch Greenway.
Our community wants it and needs it.
We need your help to ensure this project
becomes a high priority for the county.
I look forward to walking with you on the trail. |
