City Councilmember
Warren Turner to Hold District Meeting
April 26

Warren Turner. Steele Creek's district representative on
the Charlotte City Council. will hold a District 3 Neighborhood Meeting on Thursday, April 26 from 6:00 P.M.
to 8:00 P.M. at the Southwest Middle School Cafeteria. (Southwest
Middle School is behind the Steele Creek Library at 13624 Steele
Creek Road. The cafeteria is in the wing on the right of the main
entrance.)
Area
residents are invited to discuss neighborhood issues and concerns
and to set an agenda for District 3. Items of discussion will
include:
- Public Safety Code Enforcement
(Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department)
- Current Land Use/Boundaries of Steele Creek
(Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Department)
- New Runway (Aviation)
Councilmember Turner said, "I am honored to serve as your District
Councilmember and look forward to working with you in setting goals
for District 3 and accomplishing them together. You may invite others
in your neighborhood to this meeting.
I look forward to seeing you on April 26."
City
Council District 3 includes all portions of the Steele Creek
community that are within the Charlotte city limits. Additionally,
the City Council is responsible for planning and zoning and police
services within the unincorporated areas of Steele Creek. Mr. Turner
is a resident of The Crossings neighborhood.
