As more stores have been opening over the last year and a half,
RiverGate has become the centerpiece for the Lower Steele Creek
area. Anchored by Home Depot and Super Target, RiverGate will offer
about three dozen shops and restaurants in 600,000 square feet of
retail space.
RiverGate and its developer, Childress-Klein, have been great
supporters of the Steele Creek community, making donations to the
Steele Creek Community
Trail and
Steele Creek
Library Association. RiverGate has provided the community
with its first greenway trail, which runs for almost a half mile
along Walkers Branch and had its
Grand Opening last
October.
