Public Meetings on
South Corridor Bus Route Adjustments
(January
27, 2007) The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Operations
Department is hosting a series of nine public meetings on the
proposed adjustments to bus routes connecting to the LYNX Blue Line,
which generally follows South Boulevard from uptown Charlotte to the
terminus across from Carolina Pavilion Shopping Center. This new
light rail line is scheduled to open in fall 2007.
The proposals
entail adjustments to eight existing bus routes and eight potential
new bus routes that would connect to the LYNX Blue Line light rail
system. Adjustments affect route 10 (which serves Beam Road) and
route 41X (which serves Arrowood Road, Whitehall Commons,
Westinghouse Boulevard, and Carowinds Boulevard).

covering the Arrowood route will be held:
