STEELE CREEK NEWS
Come Help in the
Library Garden on March 4
(February
20, 2006) The garden on the south end of the Steele Creek Library
was landscaped when the library opened in 2004, but it needs more
attention. Several library patrons have expressed interest in
organizing a group to help maintain and enhance the garden.
The
Steele Creek
Library Association is getting the ball rolling on March 4.
All interested persons are invited to meet at the library at 9:30 to
discuss plans for the garden and the possibility of organizing a
Garden Committee to keep it up.
But it won't be all
talk. There will be an opportunity to get your hands dirty. A supply
of pine needles is scheduled for delivery at 10:00. Volunteers are
needed to spread it around trees and shrubs.
The Library
Association hopes to collect new donations to support further garden
enhancements. Please send your tax deductible check, payable to
Steele Creek Library Association, to:

enhancements to the library. (See
