District 2 School Board Candidate Forum is September 20

(September 3, 2005) The Steele Creek Elementary School PTA is sponsoring a candidate forum for the District 2 seat on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board on Tuesday, September 20 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Steele Creek Elementary School.

Vilma Leake is the current incumbent. The Primary Election is Tuesday September 27 and the General Election is Tuesday November 8.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School board has six members elected from districts. Those six seats will be decided in this fall's election. The three at-large members are not up for election this year.
