Eco-Trekkers: Sounds and Smells of Nature

(January 25, 2005) McDowell Nature Center (15222 York Road) is offering an Eco-Trekkers: Sounds and Smells of Nature program on February 19, 2005 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Most animals have to use all five senses in order to survive. This is especially important during the winter months when food can be scarce. Join us for this exciting program as we learn how animals use senses other than sight to survive. Come experience nature in a whole new way. This program is open to children ages 6 - 8 and costs $3/child. Ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Space is limited and pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, call 704-588-5224.
