(December 18, 2022) The next zoning meeting of the Charlotte City Council is scheduled for Monday, December 19 beginning at 4:00. Please monitor the City Council meeting schedule and agenda HERE. Approved Petitions

The Charlotte City Council approved the following petitions at its September 19, 2022 meeting.

2022-085 - City of Charlotte property on Beam Road adjacent to the Vehicle Operations Center. New location for Charlotte Fire Station #30. Parcel # 14124104

The Charlotte City Council approved the following petitions at its October 17, 2022 meeting.

2022-028 - Christ the King Church property adjacent to the church on South Tryon Street, to allow uses in the INST zoning district. Parcel # 21912401

The Charlotte City Council approved the following petitions at its November 21, 2022 meeting.

2022-026 - Approximately 3.15 acres located at  the southwest intersection of Shopton  Road West and Steele Creek Road. For uses consistent with the Neighborhood Services Zoning District. Parcel # 19919312, 19919316, 19919390, 19919391

2022-088 - Between John Price Road and South Tryon Street. To allow Mecklenburg County to construct the John Price Recycling Park. Parcel # 20118102

2022-003 - Joy Homes. Up to 29 single-family attached (townhome) units on south side of South Tryon Street between Tamarack Drive  and Greybriar Forest Lane. Parcel # 21912414, 21912415. 21912421

2022-051 - Approximately 4.98 acres located on the south side of Sam Neely Road adjacent to the Greycrest neighborhood. To allow development of a residential community with up to 24 single-family attached units (townhomes). Parcel # 19943294

2017-065 - Apartments at the end of Rigsby Road east of Clearview Acres subdivision off Steele Creek Road south of I-485 near the Berewick Town Center. This petition is over four years old and has been replaced by a new petition 2022-008. Parcel # 20107504

2021-101 - Long Cove Club & Marina off Pine Harbor Road and Rainbarrel Road. To rezone the site of the existing club and marina to create conforming zoning district for the site. New owners have transitioned the facility from members only to a commercial enterprise. Parcel # 19934202

2022-008 - Southeast of I-485 and Steele Creek Road (Clearview Acres subdivision). To accommodate a multi-use development with up to 350 multi- family dwelling units and uses permitted in the NS (Neighborhood Services) zoning district.
